is up 14¢ in just the last seven days. we are only behind hawaii as the second highest in the entire country. oakland and san jose right around the state average at $4.30 and $4.40 respectively. the summer blend, every time we get closer to memorial day but prices go up. the other problem is refinery issues. in california, refineries are not producing as much gasoline. the supply goes down but the demand remains the same. if prices go up. no indication of how long their refineries will be offline. let's face it, we are glad to pay more at the point this time of year regardless. it is up 14¢ in just a last week alone. >> it really sticks up on you when you have to go to

days you may not have seen gas station gas prices but when you go to fill up, you will definitely see it. i saw prices go up about 8¢ in just one day. as far as the national average, it does not even really pertain to us here in the bay area and california. $3.57 is what you are going to pay around the country. nowhere near that in california. according to aaa, we will pay $4.40 a gallon in california. that is up 14¢ in just seven days. that means california is the second-highest only to the state of hawaii. according to aaa is rounded out about $4.12 and san francisco and $4.30 an oakland and $4.40
